The primary goal of the Family Preservation program is to keep families intact by preventing the removal of children from their homes. Preservation services are provided for a period of 28 days, 10 hours per week, with a minimum of 40 service hours to address the unique needs of the family and help them create a more stable home for their child.

High Point Protect Our Nation's Youth (PONY) is a local branch of an international non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to building character, courage and loyalty in local area youth by providing competitive and fun baseball and softball programs. PONY programs are intended for children 3-15 years old and programs run from January 4th - July 30th. A fee of $65 is required for the Sheltan Tee Ball Division and $90 for all other divisions.

The Life Skills Program is intended for at-risk youth that are experiencing behavioral difficulties at school or in the community. The 20-hour long program offers classes in a variety of topics that are all aimed at empowering children to make healthier choices in their everyday lives. Children 9-13 years old will be placed in the Junior Life Skills Program and children 14-17 years old will be placed in the Senior Life Skills Program.
