Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale, and Trinity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In addition to coordinating volunteer opportunities, Habitat of High Point has a retail store selling donated household items and building materials on North Main Street called "ReStore".

Piedmont Triad Regional Council- Home Rehabilitation Program

The Home Rehabilitation program will assist in home repair projects throughout Guilford County. Such projects include: septic system replacement, well replacement, roof repair & replacement, lead paint & asbestos remediation, door & window replacement, plumbing, electrical, heating & air conditioning repair & replacement, siding repair & replacement, accessibility modifications and other general improvements. Eligible participants must be 62 years of age or older, a veteran, a recipient of Social Security or Disability benefits, or a child under the age of 6 exposed to lead based paint in the home. Participants must also meet income requirements.

Tiny Houses Community Development

The THCD works to build tiny homes across the Triad area in an effort to provide safe, affordable, and permanent housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. THCD will work with local non-profit housing organizations to qualify potential residents for their tiny homes. Potential residents will be assessed based on their income and current situation.
