Guilford Child Development - High Point Opportunity Center

The High Point Opportunity Center provides low-income families in the High Point area a path for achieving their education and employment goals. Individuals can access free on-site classes in GED preparation, nutrition, financial management, and EDU 119 (a class offered through a partnership with GTCC for individuals seeking a career in early childhood education. While individuals attend the classes, their children (ages 6 months to 5 years) will be looked after at the on-site childcare center. Bus passes are available for participants with demonstrated transportation needs.
